Critical Literacy is a subject intended to explore the theory and practice of literacy in and out of academic settings. It serves the purposes of making it more familiar for the educational practitioners.

This course aims to provide students with theoretical foundations and practical skills to design, evaluate, and adapt teaching materials for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. Students will explore various principles of material design, including learner-centered approaches, language acquisition theories, and pedagogical strategies, and apply them in the creation of engaging, effective teaching resources. Emphasis will be placed on adapting materials for different learning environments, levels, and cultural contexts.
